Circa 1800 Federal stand found in Peterborough, N.H. Signed by the maker Wymam Bartlett in graphite on the underside of the top and also has a signature in chalk, E. Beach. Bartlett was from a well known and researched family of important cabinet makers. Made totally of very well figured tiger maple in original finish with a lightly cleaned top. Graceful baluster turned and incised shaft on three arched spider legs. Excellent condition with only an early pinned repair to one leg. 28”h, the top, 17.5 x14.5. $1675
