Circa 1800 New England kidney bottle, Ex. Corning collection.

Most of these bottles are a dark green or brown but this one is

a spectacular light color. Sheared top with an applied collar hand blown into a wooden mold. In years of collecting bottles this is the best of it’s type I have ever seen. Loaded with seams, bubbles and whittle. 14.25”w x 8”d x 14.5”t.   $825

A beautifully hand blown set of  New England flasks Circa 1800. These were one of Americas earliest forms of bottles for storing liquids. In a vibrant and rare light green amber loaded with bubbles and swirls and with a applied top and pontil marks. The smallest contains what are called pot stones which are an unmelted lump of sand and common in primitive bottles. It is uncommon to find a set all of the same color and without faults. Left to right 9.75”, 8”, 7”, 5.5”.  $2250 the set.
